Contractor OPPORTUNITIES
Accoras Psychology Services and our headspace centre in Inala have teams of General and Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Dieticians working as contractors to help support the health and wellbeing of our clients. We treat all of our contractors as part of the team - because they are!
Contractor benefits at Accoras:
Full administrative support - including all Medicare compliance matters relevant to billing and referrals;
Proactive communication with clients, to make sure they attend their appointments and obtain new referrals when needed;
An exceptionally low non-attendance and late cancellation rate (with a waiting list of clients ready to take those spots);
Marketing and promotion to our local GPs, to highlight your skills and approach;
Access to free peer group supervision and support, and professional development opportunities;
Access to free support from the Accoras Clinical Governance Council and Service Manager to help you manage requests for information, subpoenas and complex clinical situations (the Service Manager handles all issues regarding consent, invoicing, payments and release of information/reports in line with your direction);

Student Placements and Volunteering
We have relationships and arrangements with several universities and higher education institutions in South East Queensland and we are pleased to provide a select number of placements across our programs each year. Common fields of study π©βπ» we offer placements for include: Social Work, Occupational Therapy and Psychology.

Advisory Groups
Something that helps us to deliver responsive services is advisory groups. π¬ Advisory groups are comprised of members of the community and past or current clients within our services. These groups are a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and a deeper understanding of ways to support the community. Our advisory groups include:
